Road Runners Club. Members may be asked to travel to the race site to mark the course as
well as assist with setup and tear down on race day. Members also need to be willing to
encourage club members to attend the race.

of Facebook and Instagram. Members may be asked to create events for various club activities
and research ways to increase our reach in the community and surrounding areas. This
committee will also produce the GSRC monthly newsletter and manage the website.
Grand Prix Committee
This committee coordinates and oversees the club championship series. It determines which
events will comprise the series, the rules that govern the event, and handles scoring, and awards at
the end of the year. Volunteers must be willing to research race results throughout the year to
determine scoring for the Grand Prix.
Membership Committee

events as well as solicit new membership. Committee members may be asked to volunteer at
local races and answer questions about the club. Committee members may be asked to offer
suggestions on ways to show appreciation for current club members at various times throughout
the year. Committee members will help recruit volunteers for the various activities/events we
support. Committee members need to be creative, outgoing, and personable and have an
understanding of Facebook and Instagram in order to post requests for volunteers.

the current scholarship application and make changes/revisions as needed. Members may be
asked to research high schools for contact information and once applications are received, to
review and vote on qualified candidates.
Social Committee

be asked to research places in the area large enough to accommodate the club as well as
secure needed items for the event.

events. Members should have a strong financial background.
